This cheese has been well known for its remarkeble taste. The consistence of this cheese is rather firm. This is because the cheese has been made of skimmed milk; this results in a low-fat percentage of between 30 and 40%. Because of this, the cheese has the state registered control mark "30+". As a result of the low-fat content, this 'semi-skimmmed' cheese can be preserved longer. How does one recognize this cheese? How does the original Boeren Leidse taste? ... a twinkle on your tongue |
